Our government client is seeking Roadwork Labourers with an MR Truck Licence to assist their maintenance crews in the Armidale area. Candidates must live in the Armidale area. The standard working hours are 7.00am – 3.30pm, Monday to Friday (9-day fortnight). There will be overtime and call outs as required.
The main duties for this role include:

The main duties for this role include:

• Driving the crew truck as required
• Assisting with pothole repairs, minor pavement patching, shoulder grading
• Repair and replacement of signs, guard rail, guideposts
• Vegetation and roadside debris removal

To be successful you will require:

• Previous civil or construction experience
• Minimum MR Truck Licence
• White Card
• Workers on Foot (or willing to get)
• Traffic Control ticket (or willing to obtain)
• Ability to work as part of a team

Essential Criteria Appointments are subject to the following checks/ clearances:

• Reference checks
• National Criminal History Record Check in accordance with the Disability Inclusion Act 2014
• Rights to Work in Australia

This is expected to be a 6-month assignment to run up to the end of January 2026 with high potential for extension. It offers up to 8.5 hours per day, 76 per fortnight (9 day fortnight).
